Edit
When I think buffalo chicken the first thing that comes to mind is buffalo wings but today we’re making something so much better. These buffalo chicken wraps have all the tasty flavors of buffalo wings without all the added fat and calories.
They’re made in under 5 minutes thanks to my best friend rotisserie chicken. If you don’t have rotisserie chicken you can also use any pre-cooked chicken or make my stove-top grilled chicken or quick shredded chicken recipe.
To make the wraps, simply combine shredded cooked chicken with buffalo sauce. You can use buffalo sauce from a jar or combine hot sauce with melted butter.
Next, all the mixture to a soft flour tortilla and top with shredded lettuce and ranch or blue cheese dressing. You can also add thinly sliced tomatoes and onion if you’d like.
5 Minute Buffalo Chicken Wraps takes about 5 minutes from beginning to end. For 80 cents per serving, this recipe covers 10% of your daily requirements of vitamins and minerals. One portion of this dish contains around 19g of protein, 8g of fat, and a total of 212 calories. This recipe serves 4. 234 people were glad they tried this recipe. With my first pregnancy and now with this one I have serious cravings for anything sour, tangy, or spicy. My husband bought me a jar of peperoccinis and I eat them straight out of the jar, as a snack. 🙂
Have you ever been to 7-eleven and had some of their nachos? They’re the best because they provide you with the tortilla chips and you can layer them up with any toppings you want from their salsa bar! SOO GOOD! My nachos bowl consists of 1/4 tortilla chips and 3/4 sweet peppers and jalapeños.
Obviously anything with “buffalo” in the name perks my ears right up! And what better than an easy homemade buffalo chicken wrap? Don’t worry, it’s way more on the tangy side than the spicy side, if spice isn’t your thing. I serve the wrap with an extra big side of hot sauce, to appease my spice cravings. 🙂
And the best part about this wrap is how easy it is to make! Less than thirty-minutes and you’ve got a tasty dinner or lunch, ready to go! Also, you can load it with more veggies than just the ones I listed.

Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons hot pepper sauce, such as Frank's RedHot
- 3 tablespoons white vinegar, divided¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
- Great Value Extra Virgin Olive Oil 17 ozIn Stores OnlySEE EVERYDAY LOW PRICE
- 1 pound chicken tenders
- 2 tablespoons reduced-fat mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons nonfat plain yogurtFreshly ground pepper, to taste¼ cup crumbled blue cheese4 8-inch whole-wheat tortillas
- 1 cup shredded romaine lettuce1 cup sliced celery1 large tomato, diced
Preparation
- Whisk hot pepper sauce, 2 tablespoons vinegar and cayenne pepper in a medium bowl. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken tenders; cook until cooked through and no longer pink in the middle, 3 to 4 minutes per side. Add to the bowl with the hot sauce; toss to coat well. Whisk mayonnaise, yogurt, pepper and the remaining 1 tablespoon vinegar in a small bowl. Stir in blue cheese. To assemble wraps: Lay a tortilla on a work surface or plate. Spread with 1 tablespoon blue cheese sauce and top with one-fourth of the chicken, lettuce, celery and tomato. Drizzle with some of the hot sauce remaining in the bowl and roll into a wrap sandwich. Repeat with the remaining tortillas.
- Eat neat: Keeping the filling inside a wrap or burrito can be a challenge, especially if you're on the go. That's why we recommend wrapping your burrito in foil so you can pick it up and eat it without losing the filling, peeling back the foil as you go.
